Visa Run Service from Ho Chi Minh City

An organised trip from Saigon to a nearby border and back, planned around your visa dates. This page explains exactly what we do, what stays your responsibility, and who the service is and isn't right for.

What the service includes

These are the parts of the trip we handle. Route-specific inclusions, such as meals or fees, are listed on each route.

    We work out the route and timing from your visa dates and where you are staying, then send the plan in writing.

  • Pickup from your accommodation

    No early-morning bus station hunt. We collect you from your address in the agreed pickup area.

    A vehicle for you or your group only, leaving when you need to.

  • Document check before you leave

    We look over your passport, current visa and onward documents before the trip, so problems surface in Ho Chi Minh City, not at the border.

  • Clear guidance at the border

    We explain each counter and each step in advance, so you know what happens on both sides.

  • Help with your visa application

    Support preparing the visa application you need for the trip. Approval stays with the authorities.

  • A contact person all day

    One number to call or message from pickup until you are back.

What we do, and what you do

A visa run has two halves: getting to the border and back, and getting permission to leave and re-enter. We can organise the first and help you prepare for the second. The second is between you and the authorities.

When a visa run is not the right answer

Be honest with yourself here, because a visa run cannot fix these situations:

  • You work in Vietnam long-term. A visa run can bridge the gap while your work permit or temporary residence card is processed, but repeated tourist entries are not a substitute for them.
  • You have already overstayed. Contact us before booking. The exit may involve fines and additional checks, and you need advice for your specific case.
  • You have had many back-to-back entries. Border officers can ask about the purpose of your stay. If your pattern of entries is unusual, get advice first.
  • Your passport is close to expiry or full. Renew it before planning the trip.

No guarantees. We are a private trip organiser. We are not an immigration authority and we do not issue visas. We cannot guarantee that a visa will be granted or that you will be allowed back into Vietnam. See what happens at the border.

Daily. The afternoon trip leaves at 11:30 and is back around 20:00. The early trip leaves at 05:00–05:30 and is back around 15:30.
